Youth Consultant

Location: Prahran

Hours: Monday-Friday 9-5pm

Are you passionate about understanding people and what motivates them? we are currently looking for individuals ready to give being a youth employment consultant a red-hot go.

A bit about the role:

• Utilise your customer service skills to connect with the youth and get to know what they're looking for in a career, whilst gaining personal and professional development along the way.

• Build and maintain relationships with employers so they can constantly provide job opportunities for the youth.

• Be a part of a dynamic, fast paced team who all want to achieve the same outcome and support each other along the way.

• Mentor and guide the youth in understanding the value of work and education and how it can change your life (friends, community and a sense of purpose).

About you:

• This role requires you to be energetic and have a passion for getting results – and those results mean getting youth into their first job.

• You'll have to be passionate about doing what it takes, even when it gets tough – that means you might have to call 10 businesses to get that perfect job for the youth you're working with.

• You need to show resilience and demonstrate that sometimes it takes getting out of your comfort zone to get the outcome you're after.
