About the Role
We're looking for a qualified Counsellor to support individuals, couples, and families facing relationship challenges, separation, and life transitions. You'll work with vulnerable and disadvantaged clients, providing counselling and support with a strong child and family focus.
This role is Part time offering 68.4 hours a fortnight working across Caboolture and Strathpine.
Responsibilities
- Deliver counselling to adults, children, couples, and families
- Conduct risk and outcome-based assessments
- Provide solution-focused, brief interventions
- Maintain accurate case notes and reports
- Participate in outreach, group work, and community engagement
- Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team
About You:
You're an experienced, empathetic counsellor who communicates well and thrives in a team environment. You bring a client-focused mindset, strong organisational skills, and a commitment to supporting families and children through change.
Qualifications:
- Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Human Services or similar
- Membership with APS, AASW, ACA or equivalent
- National Police Check, Blue Card, QLD Driver Licence, and reliable vehicle
- Postgrad qualifications (desirable)
- Ability to travel regionally
