REGISTERED ENROLLED NURSE (RN DIV 2)

We are currently seeking a casual EEN to join our team at Chelsea Heights Day Surgery Centre. It will be 8-16 hours a week. Training will be provided.

Successful Applicants will have:

  • Relevant qualifications & nursing registration in Australia
  • Permanent Resident status preferred but will consider eligibility to work within Australia.
  • Previous experience at a Perioperative environment is desirable.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Commitment to quality

Duties as outlined:

  • Admission and discharge of patients
  • Takes and records clinical observations such as temperature, pulse, blood pressure, and blood glucose levels.
  • Provides basic care for patients post procedure and help monitors patients progress
  • Administers and monitors medicines, and can administer intravenous (IV) therapy if they have completed the required education.
  • Recognizes and communicates changes in a patient's condition to the supervising RN and contributes to the post-op care
  • Works within your scope of practice, which is delegated by a Registered Nurse.

Job Type: Casual

Pay: $30.00 – $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8 – 16 per week
