Role Description

This is a remote community subcontracting position for a Physiotherapist located in Sydney, NSW. The Physiotherapist will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating a range of musculoskeletal, orthopaedic, sports, and neurological conditions. Daily tasks include creating individualized treatment plans, providing hands-on therapy, conducting exercise prescriptions, and educating clients on injury prevention and health management. The Physiotherapist will also work collaboratively with other allied health professionals to provide comprehensive care and support clients in achieving their health and rehabilitation goals.

Qualifications

  • Proficient in manual therapy, exercise prescription, and injury prevention
  • Experience with rehabilitation of musculoskeletal, orthopaedic, sports, and neurological conditions
  • Ability to develop personalized treatment plans based on clinical assessments
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for patient education and multidisciplinary collaboration
  • Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physiotherapy
  • NDIS worker screening Check
  • Working with children check
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying updated with the latest clinical practices
  • Experience in dry needling, neuro rehabilitation, and strength conditioning is a plus
