Graduate / Junior Accountant in Public Practice

We are a well-established Chartered Accounting firm in public practice located in Nowra NSW, only a short drive from some of the world's best beaches on the South Coast.

You will be working collaboratively with an experienced team to deliver exceptional service to our wide range of small to medium sized business clients.

Tait Miller McIntyre is an 'Approved Training Employer' by Chartered Accountants Australia New Zealand (CA ANZ) and will provide regular ongoing learning and development opportunities.

Tasks & Responsibilities

  • Working with a large range of clients, predominantly small to medium sized businesses across many industries;
  • Preparation of financial statements, tax and other returns for sole traders, partnerships, companies & trusts.

Qualifications & Experience

  • University graduated (or nearly graduated) with a commerce / business degree, majoring in accounting or finance;
  • Experience using a wide range of accounting software is ideal, including MYOB, Xero & Quickbooks;
  • Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and accuracy;
  • Ability to work independently and to a deadline;
  • Proactive attitude, self-motivated and enthusiastic;
  • Must maintain confidentiality;
  • Committed to providing exceptional service to our clients in a courteous, friendly and professional manner;
  • Willingness to learn and grow with the position.
