TYRE FITTER WANTED - NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY
On-the-job training provided.
Bridgestone Service Centre Winnellie & Ironman 4×4 is looking for a tyre fitter/tyre technician. Applicants require a current Driver's Licence.
Full-time position at 38 hours per week plus overtime including Saturdays (8 am – 12 pm), depending on bookings.
We pay above award wages (from $25 per hour), depending on experience.
MAIN DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES
Fit and balance passenger, light truck and agricultural tyres to customers' vehicles per job cards.
Ensure tyres have the correct pressure and wheel nuts are tightened per company policy and procedure.
Diagnose tyre damage/wear.
Prior Before vehicles leave the workshop, ensure the vehicle is prepared for customer collection.
Maintain and use tools and equipment appropriately and maintain a safe workshop environment.
Adhere to Work Health and Safety requirements.
Ensure all work areas and equipment are always clean and tidy.
Participate in relevant training and toolbox meetings as required.
Always wear appropriate safety gear and protective clothing whilst on duty.
Assist in other areas of the store, as directed by your Supervisor or Sales Manager.
