Inhouse Consulting Engineers is growing — and we're looking for a 
Senior Structural Engineer
 ready to step into a role where they'll lead projects, mentor junior staff, and drive quality outcomes across residential, civil and forensic engineering.

Based in 
Parramatta
, this full-time position is ideal for an experienced engineer looking for 
autonomy, leadership and technical challenge
 in a supportive and professional environment.

Your Role

  • Lead structural design for 
    low to mid-rise residential
    , commercial and industrial developments
  • Investigate and report on structural issues for 
    insurers, strata managers and NCAT
  • Design 
    civil structures
     including retaining walls, culverts and drainage pits
  • Mentor junior engineers
    , guiding their technical development
  • Liaise directly with architects, builders and clients to deliver efficient outcomes
  • Support business development through tenders, presentations and client engagement

About You

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil/Structural Engineering
  • Chartered Professional Engineer
    (CPEng) status (or nearly attainment)
  • 10+ years' experience
     in a consulting environment
  • Proficient in 
    concrete, steel and timber design
     to Australian Standards
  • Experience with software such as 
    SpaceGass, RAPT
    , or similar preferred
  • Skilled in writing clear, concise forensic or technical reports
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
