About this role

As our Logistics and Packaging coordinator, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth preparation, packaging and shipment of goods for both domestic and international customers. Working closely with internal teams and external suppliers, you will manage packaging specifications, export documentation, compliance and customer delivery requirements.

This is a hands-on role where no two days are the same, from coordinating vehicle and container layouts to monitoring production schedules and supporting packaging order.

This is an opportunity for a Logistics & Packaging Coordinator to join our Shepparton stores team on a full-time basis. This position will provide frontline support to the team for the final preparation and packing of goods to support the Logistics & Packaging Officer.

Job Description

Duties

  • Co-ordinate packaging requirements and track shipments of final products according to customer requirements.
  • Pro-actievly monitor progression of customer shipments through production schedules and communicate regular updates to the project delivery team to meet the required delivery deadlines.
  • Front line coordination of vehicles and container layouts execution along with packaging requirements and communicate to internal stakeholders.
  • Ensure that documentation is completed correctly and in time for successful export/import and timely clearance of goods at destination.
  • Build and manage relationships with dispatch team and internal stakeholders to support meetings our customers' need.

Skills & Experience

  • 3-5 years experience in logistics, supply chain, shipping or export/import
  • Relevant qualification preferred, e.g. frontline management, supply chain, logistics etc
  • Industry experience in a similar position essential
  • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel experience
  • SAP B1 experience advantageous
  • Demonstrated time management and organisational skills
