BARISTA WANTED – THE THISTLE NEW FARM Corner of Moray & Merthyr Street, New Farm We're looking for an experienced barista with strong front-of-house skills to join our small team at The Thistle. A neighbourhood café rooted in quality, atmosphere, and warm hospitality. Our space is classic with a modern touch, serving specialty coffee, home baking, and thoughtful service to a community that values good things done well. ABOUT THE ROLE · Variable shifts across Tuesday–Sunday, from 7am- 2.30pm · Approx. 20–30 hours/week · Specialty coffee focus using quality beans and equipment · Includes front-of-house service, customer orders via POS, and counter operations. YOU'LL BRING · Advanced barista skills with consistency and care · Highly competent POS and front-of-house skills to take and manage customer orders with accuracy and efficiency · A friendly, reliable presence.
