Litigation Lawyer

Macedone Legal is seeking a skilled and experienced Litigation Lawyer to join our dynamic team in our Sydney office. As a Litigation Lawyer, you will play a pivotal role in providing exceptional legal services to our diverse client base, specialising in civil litigation matters and probate work. This full-time position offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative and supportive environment, while contributing to the growth and success of our firm.

What you'll be doing

• Advising and representing clients in a wide range of civil litigation and dispute resolution matters
• Negotiating settlements and effectively managing cases through the court process
• Collaborating with the wider legal team to ensure seamless client service
• Providing strategic guidance and recommendations to clients on a wide range of legal issues and risk mitigation
• Continuously developing your expertise and staying up to date with changes in relevant legislation and case law

What we're looking for

• A minimum of 3 years' post-admission experience in litigation or general practice
• Demonstrated expertise in handling a wide range of litigation matters, including contract disputes, common law claims, probate litigation, building and construction claims, and general litigation
• Excellent legal research, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex legal concepts to clients
• A proactive and solution-oriented approach, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Admission to practice law in New South Wales and a valid practising certificate
