About the role

We are seeking a passionate and customer-focused Retail Assistant to join our dynamic team at Oxford Shop' Brand new store at Melbourne Airport. As a Full time Retail Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing an exceptional shopping experience for our customers. This is a full-time position with opportunities for career growth within our company.

What you'll be doing

  1. Greeting and assisting customers in a friendly and professional manner
  2. Maintaining the presentation and cleanliness of the store to the highest standards
  3. Accurately processing sales transactions and handling cash and card payments
  4. Restocking and replenishing merchandise as needed
  5. Assisting with inventory management and stock control
  6. Providing recommendations and advice to customers on products
  7. Collaborating with the team to achieve sales targets and KPIs

What we're looking for

  1. Previous experience in a customer service or retail role, preferably in the Retail & Consumer Products industry
  2. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour
  3. Strong attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently and accurately
  4. Demonstrated problem-solving skills and the ability to think on your feet
  5. Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends, to meet the needs of our customers
  6. A passion for providing exceptional customer service and contributing to the success of the team
