Finlay Family Pastoral are a mixed farming enterprise operating in Morven, NSW and 70kms north of Condobolin, NSW. We are seeking a Mixed Crop and Livestock Farm Worker to come and join our team and be based at our southern country.

The successful applicant must have excellent communication skills and be able to follow instructions and approach all tasks willingly. An admirable work ethic and the ability to work efficiently alone or as part of a team is essential.

The person will be responsible for ensuring the good health and wellbeing of all livestock in their care. They will be expected to respect and maintain vehicles, machinery and property.

Responsibilities

· Operating tractors, mixing wagon, augers and other farm machinery

· Monitoring livestock and reporting required observations to management

· Preparing and mixing feed with calculated quantities and rationing appropriately

· Feeding, watering and maintaining health, wellbeing and condition of sheep and cattle

· Detecting and treating ill livestock as required and removing deceased stock

· Completing general farm maintenance including fencing, weed control and watering repairs

· Caring for farm houses, gardens & household pets on occasions when property owners are away

· Accurate and thorough record keeping.
