You'll lift financial literacy and embed commercial discipline across internal teams partnering closely with our Financial Controller and a close‑knit Finance and Investment department to improve systems and sharpen performance.

What you'll do:

  • Finance Business Partnering: Empower leaders with clear insights through user-friendly tools and dashboards, guiding strong decision-making and budget understanding.
  • Payroll Oversight: Manage end-to-end payroll, ensuring secure systems and swift, accurate issue resolution.
  • Accounts Payable and Compliance: Ensure timely supplier payments and meet Payment Times Reporting and compliance obligations.
  • Strategic Projects: Deliver financial insights for key projects, supporting budgeting, cost tracking, and benefits analysis while partnering cross-functionally for strong governance.
  • Governance and Compliance – Keep operations audit-ready by strengthening internal controls, supporting reporting, and ensuring sound financial stewardship.

What you'll need to have

  • A tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance or related field
  • CA or CPA qualification - completed or near completion
  • A minimum 5 years' experience in management accounting or financial reporting
  • Ideally a background in government, superannuation, NFP or regulated sectors
  • Exposure to payroll operations and reporting
