
Dynatrace Consultant

We are seeking a Dynatrace Consultant to provide hands-on expertise in optimising observability across applications and infrastructure. This role will focus on integrating Dynatrace into the client's ecosystem, uplifting monitoring capability, and ensuring seamless alignment with ServiceNow and Azure observability tools.
Key Responsibilities
- Configure and deliver customised alert profiles aligned to ITSM workflows in ServiceNow.
- Lead the migration of Azure Monitor & Application Insights telemetry into Dynatrace as part of a proof-of-concept.
- Optimise tagging, metadata, and entity segmentation to ensure accurate service mapping.
- Build custom dashboards for application, infrastructure, and business service owners.
- Support Dynatrace–CMDB integration for end-to-end visibility of services and dependencies.
- Provide technical support during Dynatrace deployment across applications, services, and infrastructure.
- Document best practices and provide knowledge transfer to in-house teams.
Required Skills & Experience
- 3–5+ years in application performance monitoring (APM) / observability, with strong hands-on Dynatrace expertise.
- Proven experience with Azure Monitor, App Insights, and cloud service observability.
- Strong understanding of ServiceNow ITSM and integration of monitoring/alerting workflows.
- Practical experience with CMDB integrations, tagging standards, and automated service discovery.
- Ability to create custom dashboards and alerting frameworks in Dynatrace.
- Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and stakeholder engagement skills.
Desirable
- Dynatrace Professional Certification.
- Knowledge of scripting (Python, PowerShell, Bash) for automation.
- Familiarity with other observability tools (Splunk, AppDynamics, New Relic).
