The Role
This role is responsible for assisting the Group Manager – Risk, Quality & Assurance in the development, management and advancement of the Risk Management Framework for the CBH Group.
The role will drive a proactive and robust risk management culture at all organisational levels by partnering with all divisions of the Group to ensure effective risk management practices, ensuring that all regulatory, legislative and compliance requirements are met.
This role is based in our CBD offices.
Responsibilities Include
- Lead end-to-end risk workshops (annual and ad hoc), including facilitation, documentation, and final risk profile preparation for Chief signoff
- Manage compilation of Executive Risk Committee and draft Board papers within required timelines
- Conduct Business Impact Assessments and support business units in maintaining up-to-date BCPs and test programs
- Support crisis simulation exercises and updates to the Crisis Management Plan (CMP) in conjunction with the Group Manager – Risk, Quality & Assurance
- Support the business in managing its compliance obligations
- Mange and administer the Group's fraud analytics platform
- Review internal audit findings to validate risks, controls, action plans, and maintain the Assurance Map
- Own and manage CBH's Enterprise Risk Management System including provision of support to the business and training
About You
- Confident facilitator and presenter with experience across varied audiences
- Confident in the preparation of Board papers
- Commercially focused
- Demonstrated practice in risk management, compliance, and audit frameworks
- Strong legislative interpretation skills and understanding of compliance obligations
- Proven ability to influence and build relationships across all levels
- Strong conceptual, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Tertiary qualification in Business or a related discipline
- 5–10 years' experience in risk management, including application of ISO 31000:2018
Beneficial
- Proficient in the use of Power BI
- Experience in performing external or internal audits
