About the role

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Dental Assistant/Receptionist to join our amazing team in Taigum, QLD. This is a role that has opportunities for full-time and part-time employment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in dental assisting and/or reception duties, as well as excellent customer service skills.

What you'll be doing

  • Assisting our dentists and oral health therapists with procedures and treatments
  • Preparing and sterilising dental instruments and equipment
  • Greeting and welcoming patients, checking them in, and scheduling appointments
  • Handling patient inquiries and providing information about dental services
  • Maintaining accurate patient records and ensuring all documentation is up-to-date
  • Performing basic administrative duties such as answering phones and processing payments

What we're looking for

  • Previous experience as a Dental Assistant and/or Receptionist is preferred
  • Basic knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and equipment
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Proficient in using dental software and computer systems
  • Ability to work well in a team and adapt to a fast-paced environment
  • Attention to detail and strong organisational skills
