About the Role:

The Northern Adelaide Local Health Network is seeking an Elective Surgery & Gastro Manager to lead and manage critical elective surgery & gastroenterology services that directly impact patient outcomes and community health.

The Elective Surgery & Gastro Manager is responsible for the coordination of patient access to elective surgery services and gastroenterology procedures both internally and with private partners.  
 
In this role you will:

• manage elective surgery operations across NALHN
• manage a team of elective surgery and gastroenterology booking staff providing support and direction in relation to elective surgery and colonoscopy guidelines
• regularly rotate portfolios with the Gastroenterology Manager to maintain comprehensive expertise
• navigate challenging situations and facilitate difficult conversations with stakeholders
• ensure efficient patient flow and optimal resource utilisation
• collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver exceptional patient care
