Position Overview:

Are you looking for a new position in a fast-growing and dynamic environment? As a Graduate or Undergraduate within GTC, you'll be part of a team of forward-thinking professionals with extensive consulting and industry expertise in global trade. You will support companies by navigating tariff and non-tariff barriers, ensuring compliance, and identifying opportunities for cost savings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Learn and apply principles from the World Trade Organisation (WTO) and World Customs Organisation (WCO) to real-world scenarios.
  • Assist with research, preparation of reports, letters, and presentations on complex import and export issues.
  • Help companies manage trade compliance requirements, optimise their global supply chains, and realise tax efficiencies.
  • Conduct data analysis to identify compliance gaps or trade savings opportunities.
  • Participate in multiple client engagements, ensuring timely delivery within budget.
  • Develop strong client relationships and assist in devising strategies to meet their global trade needs.
  • Gain hands-on experience in services such as tariff classification, refund opportunity reviews, tender support, and regulator applications.

About You:

You are someone who:

  • Has completed or is in the process of completing an undergraduate degree with excellent academic credentials.
  • Is eager to learn and apply knowledge related to global trade and customs topics like tariff classification, country of origin, and valuation.
  • Possesses strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrates a commitment to professional and client service excellence.
  • Works effectively under pressure to meet deadlines.
  • Is able to collaborate with team members and is receptive to feedback.

Total Rewards:

  • Graduate Positions (Full-time): Annual salary.
  • Undergraduate Positions (Casual): Hourly pay.
