About Us
Based in Braeside, DGM Turf/Environmental Contractors specialise in operating tractors on natural turf surfaces including sports fields and recreation areas for schools, councils, and sporting clubs as well as working beaches executing mechanical beach cleaning scope of works. We are an established contractor in the Victorian Sports Turf Industry with a long-term contract in the City of Kingston and ongoing sports field maintenance, renovation, and construction works across Melbourne.

About the Role
We currently have a vacancy for a casual Tractor Operator to join our team, you will be working on exciting new turf, and beach projects. Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Tractor, ride-on cylinder, and rotary mowing duties
- Operating tractor on beaches with mechanical beach raking attachments
- Maintaining knowledge of machinery operation and skill levels in tractors, ride on mowers, utes with trailers, and trucks
- Adhering to health, safety, and cleanliness standards for machines
About You
Along with a strong work ethic and preferably previous experience in a similar role, you'll have/be:
- A current valid driver's license
- Full Australian working rights, permanent residency or a valid working holiday visa
- Minimum 6 months of tractor operating experience required
- Experience with ride-on mowers and/or machinery preferred
- A friendly, can-do attitude
- Self-motivation, organisation, physical fitness, and the ability to work autonomously
- High attention to detail and strong knowledge of OH&S requirements
