Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role located in Gold Coast, QLD, for a Forklift Technician. The Forklift Technician will be responsible for performing regular maintenance and repair work on various types of forklifts including petrol, LPG, diesel, and electric models. Daily tasks will involve troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues, conducting preventative maintenance, and ensuring equipment is compliant with safety standards. The role will also require maintaining accurate service records and interacting with customers to provide quality service.

Qualifications

  • Mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
  • Experience in performing preventative maintenance and repairs
  • Knowledge of petrol, LPG, diesel, and electric forklift models
  • Ability to maintain accurate service records
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Relevant certifications or technical training in forklift maintenance and repair
  • Forklift operating license is a plus
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
