The Role
To provide electrical installations, repairs and maintenance services to residential premises.
We currently have an opportunity for a self-motivated, reliable Electrician under limited direction, will be required to deliver preventative and responsive maintenance services to residential sites across Macarthur and surrounding areas.
This position will deliver a range of services including;
Preventative and responsive maintenance to electrical systems and equipment including but not limited to;
- General lighting and power services
- Electrical installations and maintenance
- Contribute to condition assessments and reports
- Actively manage and meet response times, deadlines and safety obligations
- Provide technical advice in support of Alternative Proposals / Equipment Replacement programs
- Provide ideas and support innovation
Skills and Experience
- Qualified Tradesperson - Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician (or equivalent)
- Current qualification in CPR and LV Rescue
- Current General Construction Induction (White) Card
- Current Working at Heights qualification preferred
- Current first aid certificate preferred
- Experience in photovoltaic systems (Grid-connect) highly desirable
- Level 2 overhead/underground and/or metering experience highly desirable
- Open cabling Licence/Telecommunications Cert II (or equivalent) preferred
- Valid manual driver's Licence with no restrictions
- Experience in responding to and satisfying customer requests
The successful candidates will have a sound knowledge of relevant AS 3000 standards, Possess a strong work ethic, achieve highest level of safety, quality of work and have a genuine passion for excellent customer service. Also able to work solely or in a team environment.
