Full-time Bar Manager – Kalgoorlie Golf Course
Are you a dynamic hospitality professional ready to lead a vibrant team in one of WA's most iconic regional cities? The City of Kalgoorlie-Boulder is seeking a passionate and experienced Bar Manager to oversee operations at the Waterhole Restaurant bar, located at the stunning Kalgoorlie Golf Course.
About the Role
As Bar Manager, you'll be responsible for the day-to-day management of bar and beverage services, ensuring exceptional customer experiences, compliance with liquor licensing, and smooth delivery of functions and events. You'll lead a team of bar and wait staff, manage stock and suppliers, and support weekend operations of the Facility.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead, train, and supervise bar and beverage staff
• Ensure smooth bar operations during public trade, functions, and events
• Manage stock control, inventory, and supplier relationships
• Ensure compliance with RSA and liquor licensing regulations
• Coordinate drink menus, promotions, and themed events
• Deliver outstanding customer service and maintain a welcoming atmosphere
• Oversee weekend facility operations and support event delivery
• Monitor financial performance, cash handling, and labour costs
What You'll Bring
• RSA and Approved Bar Manager Certificates (Essential)
• Food Safety Supervisor Certificate (Desirable)
• Proven experience in a licensed venue management role
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Knowledge of WA liquor laws and workplace safety
• POS and stock management expertise
• Current WA "C" Class Driver's Licence and National Police Clearance
