Wiggles and Giggles is a small family-owned early childhood education and care service, dedicated to providing high-quality programs for children from 6 weeks to 6 years. We're seeking an experienced and passionate Nominated Supervisor to join our leadership team.
Our 110 place service offers a fun, safe and supportive environment that allows children to explore the world around them, build friendships and be part of the wider community.
About the role
As the Nominated Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the centre, ensuring compliance with the National Quality Framework, and leading a team of educators to deliver exceptional education and care programs.
Key responsibilities
- Lead and manage the centre's daily operations, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Ensure the centre meets National Quality Standards and relevant accreditation requirements.
- Oversee the development, implementation, and evaluation educational programs, aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework V2.0.
- Supervise and support a team of educators, promoting a positive and inclusive work environment.
- Foster strong relationships with families, children, and the community.
- Manage centre resources, budgets, and administrative tasks.
- Develop and maintain policies, procedures, and documentation.
Requirements
- Prior experience as the Nominated Supervisor, 2IC or a similar leadership position
- Australian Qualifications in either a Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood) or a Diploma in Early Childhood and willing to enrol in a ECT (or is on the pathway to completion)
- A current Working with Children Check, First Aid, and Child Protection certifications.
- Strong knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework V2.0 (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS).
