Seeking Darwin-based MECHANICAL FITTER applicants for immediate start

NorthTech SLE provides custom fabrication, welding and machining, as well as on-site maintenance and servicing, for clients in the Mining, Marine, Utilities, Industrial and Oil & Gas sectors.

We provide a pathway to full-time jobs if that's what you're after, or full flexibility if you prefer a casual role. We have a state-of-the-art workshop in Pinelands as well as site work across the NT, so you'll have variety and a heap of work available

WE ARE URGENTLY SEEKING MECHANICAL FITTERS FOR AN IMMEDIATE START

Interpret drawings, service/modify/repair/maintain plant, refurbish components, machine installations, trouble shooting and commissioning work

Similar trades welcome to apply as we have a broad range of opportunities available (automotive mechanics, sheet metal workers, boilermakers, diesel fitters, etc)

Applicants must hold Australian recognised trade qualifications/tickets.

Essential:

  • Darwin based work and  FIFO for the right candidates
  • Right to work in Australia
  • Current C class Drivers Licence (MR or HR Lic an advantage)
  • Reliable transport
  • Able to pass industry medicals, including D&A testing
  • Criminal history checks
  • Industry White Card
  • Own basic tools
  • Confined Space Entry (within last 2 years)
  • Working at Heights (within last 2 years)
