The Opportunity
We're seeking an experienced and passionate
Care Manager
to lead and mentor our team of nurses and care staff. This pivotal role is focused on delivering high-quality, consumer-directed clinical care while fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Key Attributes
To succeed in this role, you will demonstrate:
- Sound knowledge of accreditation standards, infection control, AN-ACC, SIRS, manual handling, OHS, and nursing best practices
- Strong leadership with a hands-on approach and compassionate style
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- Ability to identify and manage deteriorating residents and emergency situations
- At least 3 years' experience in a Clinical/Care Manager (or equivalent) role within a similar-sized aged care facility in Australia
- Proven involvement in accreditations, unannounced visits, incident investigations, complaints, and outbreak management
- Confidence in analysing clinical data for root causes and trends, and preparing reports for management
- A genuine commitment to the wellbeing of both residents and staff

Requirements
- Registered Nurse qualifications and current registration with AHPRA
- Thorough understanding of Aged Care Legislation and Aged Care Quality Standards
- Valid NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain upon appointment)
- Strong computer literacy, our systems are fully electronic
- Current First Aid Level 2 / CPR certification (ongoing)
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team
- Demonstrated understanding of workplace health and safety
- Strong coaching and training capabilities with the ability to influence others
- Must have unrestricted work rights in Australia

Role Details
This is a full-time position, typically Monday to Friday, 7am to 3pm. While these are the standard hours, we value flexibility and teamwork to meet the evolving needs of our residents and staff.
