Location: Chinderah, NSW

Reporting to: Processing Manager

Employment Type: Full-time (minimum 38 hours/week)


About the Role

This is a hands-on role suited to individuals who thrive in a team environment and demonstrate a strong work ethic. Key responsibilities include:

  • Preparing feed for lobster production
  • Processing seafood products
  • Slicing, filleting, cleaning, deboning, trimming fresh fish
  • Cleaning workspaces and equipment
  • Picking and packing orders for dispatch
  • Executing tasks as directed by management
  • Adhering to company policies, procedures, and Workplace Health and Safety guidelines

About You

We're looking for candidates who bring the following qualities and experience:

  • Experience in filleting fish or seafood processing (or willingness to learn with on-the-job training provided)
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
  • Physically fit and capable of performing repetitive tasks efficiently
  • Forklift license is a plus (not essential)
  • Sound understanding of Workplace Health and Safety protocols

Requirements
  • Current driver's license and reliable transport
  • Full working rights in Australia
  • Willingness to undergo pre/post-employment medical checks, including drug and alcohol testing
  • Ability to work in cold environments, stand for extended periods, and lift up to 20kg repeatedly throughout shifts
