About The Role
The Category Manager - Software will be responsible for managing ANZ's Software category and sub-categories, overseeing the sourcing of that category, focusing on the long-term direction of the category and the achievement of strategic goals..

Work Hours: FullTime (40 Hours)
What will your day look like?**
As the Category Manager - Software, you will be accountable for:

• Managing the development and execution of software category strategies, ensuring alignment with business needs and objectives.
• Overseeing and execute the strategic sourcing of the category end to end.
• Undertaking data-driven analysis of spending patterns, market trends, industry benchmarks and supplier capabilities to inform category strategies and category profiles as well as drive continuous improvements.
• Identifying and managing commercial, contractual, operational, financial, reputational, ethical and supply chain risks to minimise negative impacts on category objectives while encouraging opportunity and innovation.
• Tracking category and sub-category performance, leveraging data-driven analysis to identify gaps and implement corrective actions to ensure that targets for cost savings, quality and service are met.
• Overseeing and/or contributing to end-to-end sourcing for assigned sub-categories, collaborating with the Strategic Sourcing Team to plan contract negotiations and establish supply arrangements that align with category strategy and deliver value for money outcomes.
• Partnering with Supplier Relationship Management team to build and maintain relationships with strategic suppliers to ensure reliable and sustainable partnerships.
• Providing governance, advice and guidance to internal stakeholders to build expertise in procurement categories across ANZ.
