Description:

The role:

Cater Care seeks to appoint multiple Catering Assistants at one of our key aged care residences in Armadale.

Roster: Various days and hours, including weekends (up to 20 hours per week)

$25.85 base rate + casual loading and applicable weekend penalty rates

What this role involves:

Assisting with food preparation

Customer service - serving our residents meals and snacks

Re-stocking as required, and after meal periods

Dishwashing and cleaning kitchen & dining areas

Maintaining food hygiene and safety practices

Prepare and present texture modified foods

Skills and Experiences:

The ideal candidate will have:

Experience assisting in kitchens, food preparation and/or customer service

Ability to work well independently and as part of a team

Pride in personal appearance & hygiene

Previous experience in aged care (preferred but not essential)
