About the role.

As a DATS Casual Forklift Driver, your day will be varied and cover the following tasks:

  • Order picking with modern RF scanners (carton level picking). This will require time on and off the forklift, as well as the potential for alternating with the use of order runners depending on the daily workload.
  • Performing stock / bin location replenishment tasks
  • Shrink wrapping and putaway of goods inwards pallets
  • Assisting with the loading and unloading of trucks
  • Other general warehouse duties as needed

To be successful in this role, you will need the following:

  • A valid forklift license with experience driving high reach forklifts (double deep experience or the ability to pick it up quickly would be advantageous)
  • A positive and friendly attitude.
  • The desire to work in and truly be part of a team.
  • Strong work ethic with the ability to work within a fast paced environment.
  • A genuine commitment to Workplace Health & Safety.
  • Previous picking experience (preferably with RF scanners) would be advantageous, but training will be provided.
  • Able to perform manual handling and picking tasks.
