About the Role – Assistant Store Manager

Are you a qualified Motor Mechanic or Tyre/Wheel Alignment Technician ready to take the next step in your career?

Come join the team JAX Tyres & Auto – Narre Warren, as an Assistant Store Manager.

In this role, you'll play a key part in growing the business by delivering an exceptional customer experience, advising on vehicle needs, and supporting the Store Manager in mentoring staff to maximise performance and growth opportunities.

Your day-to-day tasks would include.

  • Customer service and advising

  • Sales

  • Bookings

  • Allocating jobs

  • Supervising of staff (Workshop)

  • Providing mentoring and feedback to staff

  • Building relationships (staff, customers and suppliers)

  • Optimising business operations and sales

  • Opening and closing store

Requirements

  • 2 years' experience preferred as an assistant store manager

  • Mechanical or Tyre Fitting/ Wheel alignment Background required

  • Experience in opening and closing store procedures

  • Customer Service - Face to Face

  • Possession of leadership skills

  • Must have Tyre/Automotive industry experience

  • Time-management, problem-solving and prioritize skills

  • Clear communication skills

  • Computer Literate

  • Current and Valid driver's license

  • Available to work Saturday (8am - 12pm)
