About Us

The Family Lawyer is an established, specialist family-law firm recognised for delivering clear, practical advice in parenting, property, and family-violence matters. Following significant growth and our recent relocation to our new Glen Iris head office, we are seeking an experienced Practice Manager to strengthen our operational systems, team performance, and client experience.

The Role

  • Design, document, and implement firm-wide systems and processes to ensure consistency and scalability.
  • Oversee daily operations across administration, finance coordination, and client service.
  • Develop and monitor key performance indicators and prepare regular reporting for the parters of the firm.
  • Manage onboarding and staff development programs.
  • Work closely with the firms partners to implement strategic and operational objectives.

Experiece

  • Minimum four (4) years' experience in a law-firm or professional-services practice-management role.
  • Demonstrated success delivering projects, systems, and KPI structures that improve operational performance.
  • Strong financial and reporting literacy.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Highly organised, detail-focused, and proactive.
