Exact Contracting Services currently has exciting employment opportunities for experienced and qualified Heavy Diesel Mechanics (Heavy Earthmoving) located in South Australia, for maintenance operations at our workshop located North of Adelaide at Burton.

The Role:

This position is responsible for the servicing, repair, and maintenance of the company's mobile plant equipment, as well as fault finding & diagnostics to assist the prevention of break downs or unexpected down time of machinery.

What will the successful candidate have?

  • Heavy Diesel Trade Qualification (essential) (AQF Certificate IV or AQF Certificate III);
  • Experience maintaining CATERPILLAR and/or KOMATSU equipment;
  • Experience with road trains and trucks;
  • Auto-electrical experience (highly regarded);
  • Current unrestricted driver's licence (HR licence desirable);
  • Commitment to safety and compliance with site requirements;
  • Dedication to learning, high quality work and achieving goals;
  • Strong work ethic, positive attitude and ability to work in a team.

Exact Contracting will provide:

  • A local SA based role - be home every night;
  • 5:2 Roster;
  • Retention bonus to be awarded annually - up to $3000;
  • Super paid on all hours worked;
  • Tool allowance of $55p/fn worked;
  • The opportunity to move into a FIFO role.

Pre-Employment:

All candidates are required to complete a National Police Check, pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol screening.
