Smoke Alarm Electrician

As one of SE QLD's leading leading Smoke Alarm service companies we are expanding into the Townsville Region. We are seeking a Smoke Alarm Electrician who is a good communicator, a motivated and skilled electrical tradesperson, that takes pride in their work. You will be working solo in your own company provided van performing smoke alarm, services, installations and electrical maintenance work in the Townsville area. This a fulltime, 5 days a week, business hours role with no weekend or after hours so great work/life balance.

The overview of the role:

• Installing smoke alarms with precision, in alignment with relevant safety codes and regulations.

• General domestic and small commercial electrical maintenance ( GPO, lights, fans, switches etc )

• Conducting comprehensive inspections of existing smoke alarm systems to ensure operational efficiency.

• Diagnosing and resolving any technical issues related to smoke alarms and safety switches.

• Keeping records of installations, maintenance tasks, and testing outcomes.

• Engaging with property managers and homeowners to educate them about the critical importance of smoke alarms and safety switches.

Requirements for the ideal candidate.

• Electrical Workers Licence Queensland

• Queensland Drivers licence

• Clear National Police Check

• Bluecard

• Well presented, friendly and with exceptional communication skills
