Baseline Management is a strategic partner dedicated to elevating and streamlining the essential corporate functions and operations for an Ecosystem of several entities and brands.  Baseline Management aims to support business via a shared services offering of human resources, employee engagement, facilities management, legal services and Information Technology and Communications support and security. All entities within the Ecosystem strive to support veterans improve their health outcomes.

Position Purpose:

Reporting to the People & Culture Manager this role is responsible for supporting the delivery of a full spectrum of people services providing value to Ecosystem entities. This includes, but is not limited to, organisational change & development, industrial relations, recruitment, diversity initiatives, employee value proposition programs, performance management, reward and recognition program, learning and development and workforce planning.

Role Specific Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert advice on complex employee relations and industrial relations matters, including performance management, grievances and dispute resolution.
  • Interpret and apply the Fair Work Act 2009 (Cth), Modern Awards, Enterprise Agreements and relevant employment legislation.
  • Lead or support consultation and negotiation processes relating to workplace change, restructures or employment terms.
  • Partner with senior leaders to implement workforce planning, capability development and organisational change initiatives.
  • Support policy development, compliance audits and continuous improvement of HR frameworks.
  • Coach and guide managers on performance, conduct and workplace culture.
  • Build and maintain strong, trusted relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including employees, unions and regulators.

Requirements for the role:

  • P&C related qualifications and/or experience.
  • Extensive experience in a HR or IR advisory or partnering role, ideally within a multi-entity or complex organisational environment.
  • Proven ability to interpret and apply Fair Work and related legislation with accuracy and confidence.
  • Ideally 4 or more years of experience in a People & Culture.
  • Experience leading or advising on workplace investigations, disputes and compliance matters.
  • Strong interpersonal and influencing skills, with the ability to provide balanced, pragmatic advice to senior stakeholders.
  • Exceptional professionalism, discretion and judgement in managing sensitive employment matters.
  • Employment Hero experience preferred.
