Assistant for Gelcoat Technician

An exciting opportunity is now available to join the team at our Manufacturing facility in Beaudesert for an Assistant to our Gelcoat Technician. This is a casual position for approximately 20hrs per week. Hours can be flexible to suit the right person.
Key Responsibilities
- Mixing & decanting gelcoat on a daily basis
- Assist in all works to help with production and testing
Trouble shooting resin and gelcoat issues encountered in production
Unloading of resin/gelcoat delivery trucks when required
- Follow established safety rules and regulations and maintain a safe environment
About You
To join our team, you will need to have a can do attitude and the ability to multi task and have a passion to provide quality work and a strong commitment to the safety of yourself and others. Additionally, you will need:-
- Current driver's license
- Forklift ticket – not essential but an advantage
- Be able to demonstrate a professional approach in the workplace
- Excellent communication skills
- Execute work that is of a high standard
We have ZERO tolerance to drugs and alcohol and you may be required to undergo a medical assessment prior to employment which includes drug and alcohol testing. Our Drug and Alcohol Policy includes random testing.
