Builder - Carpenter

Kickstart 2025/26 with an exciting new opportunity We are seeking motivated Carpenter to join our team. A manufacturer of specialized portable buildings and switchrooms, located in Dandenong South, requires the professional skills of an experienced and qualified builder.

Location: Dandenong South

Key Responsibilities:

• Cladding
• Structural steel beams/frames
• Installation of metal windows and doors
• Maintaining quality control of materials and building products
• Inspecting and monitoring daily construction activities to ensure compliance
• Assisting sub-contractors in meeting high standards of workmanship

Requirements:

• Trade qualification
• Experience with steel frames
• Solid understanding of codes, standards, and the building process
• Clear understanding of current WHS requirements
• Ability to understand and interpret structural drawings
• Problem-solving skills with excellent communication
• Ability to meet and exceed deadlines
• Hands-on approach and lead by example
• Forklift, Elevated Work Platform operator's card, and White Card are advantageous
