Georges River Council is offering a full-time Apprentice Electrician position at our Carlton Depot, starting in early 2026. We're looking for motivated individuals who are ready to commit to learning, growing, and contributing to their community. This is an opportunity to work under the direct supervision of the Senior Electrician to learn the electrical trade while completing the Cert III in Electrotechnology to become a qualified tradesperson.

What We Offer You:
- Full-Time, Temporary Position (Up to 4-Year Apprenticeship)
- Attractive Salary: $31, $49,280.40 gross per annum plus 12% superannuation

What You Will Bring
- Committed to a structured Apprenticeship Program: Enrolled in or willing to enrol in Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician (UEE30820)
- Construction Induction Card (White Card): Mandatory for site safety compliance (holder of or willingness to obtain)
- Commitment to WHS and Teamwork: A strong focus on safety, with the ability to work as part of a team and follow instructions
- Customer Service Commitment: A positive attitude, strong work ethic to deliver quality work, reliability and punctuality
- Effective Communication Skills: Good verbal and written communication to work collaboratively with the team and stakeholders
- Physical Fitness: Capable of performing manual tasks and working in outdoor environments, often on your feet and in varied conditions
