Program Overview

Our Internship Trainee Program is tailored for motivated students and recent graduates seeking career development in Legal (Financial Compliance & Regulation), Public Relations (Corporate Communications), or Sales (Client Relationship & Fundraising).

Participants will work alongside experienced mentors, contribute to active projects, and gain firsthand exposure to the operations of a high-performing financial services firm. This is an exceptional opportunity to build practical skills in a dynamic and collaborative environment.

Available Tracks

  1. Legal Trainee

  2. Support the legal and compliance teams on regulatory filings and internal documentation under the guidance of licensed legal counsel

  3. Conduct legal research on Australian and international financial regulations (ASIC, AML/KYC, etc.)
  4. Assist in the review and preparation of agreements, NDAs, and internal policy documentation
  5. Help prepare legal memos, compliance reports, and due diligence materials for internal and external stakeholders
  6. Ideal for students currently pursuing a degree in Law or Commerce or those with a strong interest in the intersection of law, finance, and regulation

  7. Public Relations (PR) Trainee

  8. Assist in developing and executing corporate communications strategies to promote Decode Funds' brand and reputation

  9. Contribute to the drafting of press releases, executive speeches, newsletters, and stakeholder updates
  10. Help manage media relationships, monitor press coverage, and prepare internal media reports
  11. Support the coordination of public-facing events, webinars, sponsorships, and community engagement initiatives
  12. Work with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent messaging across marketing, legal, and investor relations materials

  13. Sales Trainee

  14. Assist the client relationship and business development teams in managing and onboarding institutional and high-net-worth clients

  15. Research market segments, prospective partners, and investor profiles to support fundraising strategies
  16. Help prepare sales pitch decks, proposals, and meeting briefs for prospective investors
  17. Participate in CRM data management, follow-up activities, and sales reporting
  18. Gain exposure to investor roadshows, client meetings, and distribution channel development processes

What We Look For

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Law, Public Relations, Communications, Finance, Business, or related fields
  • Strong interest in legal compliance, corporate communication, or financial sales
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Detail-oriented, analytical, and eager to contribute to fast-paced team projects
  • Proficient in relevant tools (e.g., Microsoft Office, legal databases, CRM platforms, or PR/media tools)
  • A collaborative team player with initiative and professionalism
