About the Role

Thai Kee IGA is seeking a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Team Member to join our operations team.

In this role, you will play an essential part in ensuring our store runs smoothly by managing incoming and outgoing stock, maintaining accurate inventory records, and supporting daily warehouse operations.

The role suits someone who takes pride in keeping things organised, works well under pressure, and values being part of a fast-paced family business environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Pick and pull out stock accurately from storage areas for store replenishment and deliveries
  • Check and verify incoming stock against delivery dockets and invoices
  • Refill shelves and storage areas promptly to maintain optimal stock levels
  • Identify damaged or incorrect stock and report discrepancies to supervisors
  • Assist with daily and weekly stock checks, cycle counts, and inventory reporting
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work area in compliance with safety standards
  • Support delivery unloading and ensure correct stock placement (dry, frozen, and refrigerated goods)
  • Follow first-in, first-out (FIFO) principles to manage perishable goods effectively
  • Work collaboratively with the purchasing and retail teams to ensure smooth stock flow

Skills and Experience Required

  • Previous experience in a warehouse, stock handling, or retail back-of-house environment (preferred but not essential)
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
  • Good physical fitness and ability to lift moderate loads safely
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Basic understanding of stock control systems or willingness to learn (training provided)
  • Forklift licence (advantageous but not required)
