Iron Mine Contracting (IMC) was formed to provide Civil, Mining, Crushing and Screening and Indigenous partnering opportunities to the West Australian market.

IMC and its associated indigenous Joint Venture partners have been delivering projects to Tier 1 Resource clients including Rio Tinto, Woodside Petroleum, Northern Star Resources, Fortescue, Roy Hill, Liontown Resources and Newcrest Mining amongst others since 2013.

About our role :

Looking for flexible, hands-on work in a fast-paced environment? We're seeking a reliable Casual Storeperson to support our warehouse operations in Bayswater.

This role is ideal for students, semi-retired individuals, or anyone seeking casual, ad-hoc work with full availability during December–January and flexibility throughout the year. You'll also need to be open to FIFO site visits to support leave coverage, project de-mobilisations, and stocktakes.

You'll assist the warehouse team with stock handling and general warehouse duties. This is a physically active role requiring manual handling of items up to 20kg, and a strong focus on safety, teamwork, and customer service.

You will focus on:

  • Quality control, goods receipting, wrapping/strapping, and palletising freight
  • Forklift operation for loading/unloading
  • Updating freight runs with delivery dockets, photos, and manifests
  • Returning goods to suppliers (repairable, lube refills)
  • Participating in safety meetings and completing safety tasks (hazards, take fives, pre-starts)
  • Providing customer service to internal and external stakeholders
  • Supporting stocktakes and conducting FIFO site visits for inventory counts
  • General housekeeping and team support

What You'll Bring:  

  • Minimum of 1 year working in a similar capacity
  • Valid manual C class drivers and current forklift Licences
  • High level communication & computer skills
  • Inventory Management understanding
  • Pronto experience (highly regarded)
  • Able to pass a full Pre Employment medical and Lab Drug and Alcohol Screen
  • Must currently hold or able to obtain a National Police Clearance
