Category Marketing Manager - Beauty.
Reporting to the Senior Marketing Manager - Beauty you will be responsible for supporting the marketing and commercial performance of Myer's Beauty portfolio, spanning skincare, fragrance, makeup, wellness, and haircare.

This is a hands-on role that blends campaign coordination with commercial insight, cross-functional collaboration, and strong process ownership — ensuring all beauty campaigns and initiatives are delivered on time, on brand and in line with business priorities.

About the role:

• Partner with the Beauty Buying and Planning teams to understand trade priorities, product launches, and promotional opportunities.
• Translate commercial and category plans into clear, actionable marketing briefs.
• Support the planning and execution of 360° beauty marketing campaigns, including seasonal events, brand launches, promotional activations and exclusive brand moments.
• Collaborate with external (e.g. creative) and internal teams (e.g.) eComm, digital, loyalty, social to deliver consistent messaging and impactful customer journeys.
• Own process with team on campaign timelines, approvals, and asset management — ensuring seamless execution across digital and physical channels.
• Support the marketing onboarding of new brand partners into the Myer Beauty portfolio.
• Collaborate with the Buying team and external partners to understand brand positioning, launch requirements and timelines.
• Develop marketing launch plans in alignment with brand strategies and Myer's customer expectations, including creative briefing and asset management and coordination.
• Ensure new brands are integrated into key customer touchpoints such as eCommerce, social, loyalty, events, and in-store communications.
• Support the management and tracking of the marketing budget, ensuring campaigns are delivered within allocated spend.
• Monitor and report on campaign performance metrics including traffic, engagement, conversion and ROI.

About you:

• Extensive experience in retail, category or brand marketing, ideally within beauty, fashion.
• Strong understanding of marketing campaign development, retail calendars and the beauty category landscape.
• Demonstrated ability to manage projects with multiple stakeholders and tight deadlines.
• Experience working with or alongside buying, planning, creative and digital teams.
• Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail, follow-through and process orientation.
• Proficiency with marketing systems and tools (e.g. Wrike, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Collaborative, solution-focused and agile in approach.
• Degree in Marketing, Business, Communications or a related field
• Previous experience in a large retail or omnichannel organisation
• Experience coordinating co-branded campaigns with external partners or vendors
• Understanding of loyalty marketing, influencer/content integration, and retail promotional mechanics (e.g. GWP, launches)
