Job Title: Business Development Manager – SEO & Paid Media (Australia Market)

Location:
 Sydney, Australia (remote)

Ethinos is a global digital marketing agency, now expanding into Australia. We specialise in 
SEO, paid media, programmatic, and performance marketing
—and already work with clients like 
James Hardie, Supercare, and Bahamas
.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy focused on driving growth in SEO and paid media within the Australian market.
  • Act as the single point of contact for all new business inquiries, prospecting, and client acquisition efforts.
  • Identify and generate new leads, targeting decision-makers in key industries like real estate, e-commerce, and finance.
  • Present and sell tailored SEO and paid media solutions that address client needs and objectives.
  • Independently manage the end-to-end sales process, from initial outreach and proposal development to contract negotiation and closing deals.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure the smooth delivery of services to new clients.
  • Continuously build and nurture relationships with potential clients to drive long-term partnerships.
  • Stay informed on market trends, competitor activities, and industry changes to adapt the business development approach.

Consistently meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.

What you'll do:

  • Bring in new direct clients across industries.
  • Leverage your network to generate leads and close deals.
  • Position Ethinos as a performance-driven partner in SEO, paid media & programmatic.
  • Exceed growth targets and represent Ethinos in Sydney.

What we're after:

  • 4–5 years' experience in business development / media sales.
  • Strong client network in Australia (Sydney preferred).
  • Track record of winning new business.
  • Confident communicator, negotiator & closer.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in business development or sales within the digital marketing industry, particularly focused on SEO and paid media services.
  • Proven track record of successfully developing new business independently, ideally within the Australian market.
  • Strong understanding of SEO, paid media (PPC, display ads, social media ads), and overall digital marketing.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously, demonstrating initiative and entrepreneurial drive in a one-person team.
  • An established network of contacts in industries such as real estate, e-commerce, and finance is a plus.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple opportunities at once.
  • No remote work option—candidates must be available to work in Sydney.
