Regis Resources is an ASX 200-listed Perth based gold production and exploration company with a proven management team and a successful track record of developing mid-sized gold operations. Regis is a purely Australian gold miner with significant open pit and underground operations, which includes the 100% owned Duketon Gold Project and a 30% ownership of the Tropicana Gold Project, both in Western Australia. In FY25, Regis expects to produce between 350 thousand and 380 thousand ounces of gold and has a current market capitalisation of around A$3.6 billion.
The current mine site locations are in the Northeastern Goldfields of WA, with multiple mining operations both open pit and underground. This is an opportunity to join a high performing team, working collaboratively towards a future production profile of up to half a million ounces of gold annually.
Job Description
The opportunity
We are looking for an experienced
Underground Surveyor
to join the team at our Duketon underground operations.
The Underground Surveyor is responsible for the providing survey services to the operation in a safe, accurate and efficient manner in accordance with statutory regulations, contractual obligations and company objectives.
This is a FIFO role, working on an 8:6 roster (ex-Perth).
The Main Responsibilities Of This Role Include
- As-built pickups
- Development and production mark-ups
- Production void pickups (CMS, Elios 3 and Hovermap Drone surveys)
- Mining instruction creation
- Conduct control traverses
- Emergency plans preparation
- End of month preparation of documentation
About You
Desired Skills and Experience
To Be Successful For This Role, You Will Have
- Formal tertiary qualification in Surveying
- Demonstrated experience in underground surveying
- Move3 & Deswik software experience desir able
- Use of Leica survey instruments (MS60 and MS50)
- RePL and capability in use of modern drone technology desirable
- Understanding of underground mining & underground traversing principles
- Manual C class drivers' licence
