The Role
As part of our Delivery Team, you will be responsible for delivering our customer's orders to their premises, or choice of drop off location. This position is:
· Casual Position, minimum of 36 hours a week
· Must be available across a 7 day roster, incentive rates apply for weekends
· Immediate start
Duties/Responsibilities
· Load truck with customer orders
· Delivering customer orders according to the run sheet
· Check off stock against customer invoice and ensure what has been invoiced has been delivered
· Communicate with the office about discrepancies, short deliveries, damages etc
· Other tasks as directed by Supervisors and/or Management
· Cleaning of truck
· Daily operator pre-start checklists to be completed
· Maintain a clean and safe workspace
· Abide by workplace health and safety policies and procedures
· Abide by all Traffic Management Plan rules and regulations
· Abide by all parking and road rules, regulations, laws, by-laws
Skills/Competencies Required
· Have a MR/HR Driver's license
· Have a current Forklift license
· Be able to operate an electric and manual pallet jack
· Picking and packing experience is highly desirable
· Food industry experience is highly desirable
· Be proficient in the English language and have great writing, reading and speaking skills
· Have a customer focused attitude
· Have a high level of attention to detail
· Be able to work in a robust environment with other team members
· Have a sense of humour
· Be reliable, punctual and have initiative
· Have full working rights in Australia
