About the role

BLG Landscape Services is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic 1st or 2nd year Apprentice in Parks & Gardens to join our team. This is a full-time position that will provide you with the opportunity to learn and develop the skills required to maintain and improve our clients properties across Sydney.

What you'll be doing

1. Assisting in the general maintenance and upkeep of clients properties
2. Performing tasks such as mowing, edging, weeding, planting, and pruning
3. Operating and maintaining various landscaping equipment and tools
4. Participating in team projects to enhance the appearance and functionality of outdoor spaces
5. Completing an apprenticeship program to obtain a relevant qualification in Parks & Gardens
6. Adhering to all safety protocols and environmental regulations

What we're looking for

1. A passion for gardening and outdoor work
2. Strong physical fitness and the ability to perform manual labour tasks
3. A keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards
4. Excellent teamwork and communication skills
5. A willingness to learn and develop new skills through an apprenticeship program
