About the role

Chapters Bistro in Currambine, Western Australia is seeking talented CDP to join our passionate culinary team. This full-time role offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your skills in a thriving restaurant environment.

What you'll be doing

• Prepare and cook a variety of dishes to a consistently high standard following established recipes and method
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organisation in the kitchen
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior kitchen staff
• Ensure efficient and timely meal preparation and service
• Adhere to all food safety and hygiene regulations

What we're looking for

• Minimum 2 years' experience as a CDP or Commis Chef in a similar high-volume restaurant or hospitality setting
• Formal culinary training or qualifications (e.g. Certificate III in Commercial Cookery)
• Strong working knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques and presentation
• Excellent time management and multitasking abilities
• A positive, team-oriented attitude and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Passion for using fresh, seasonal produce to create delicious, high-quality meals
