About the role

Epilepsy Foundation is looking for a friendly and enthusiastic Casual Sales Assistant to join our team at our Kilsyth VIC 3137 location. In this casual role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and assisting with the day-to-day operations of our retail store. If you have a passion for sales and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

What you'll be doing

  1. Delivering outstanding customer service and creating a positive shopping experience
  2. Assisting customers with product selection, answering inquiries, and processing purchases
  3. Maintaining the store's appearance and organization, including stocking shelves and tidying displays
  4. Handling cash and processing transactions accurately
  5. Identifying and capitalizing on sales opportunities
  6. Supporting the store's overall operations and contributing to a collaborative team environment

What we're looking for

  1. Previous experience in a retail or customer service role, preferably in the Retail & Consumer Products industry
  2. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with customers and provide excellent service
  3. Excellent time management and organisational skills, with the ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  4. A friendly, positive, and professional attitude, with a willingness to go the extra mile for customers
  5. Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends, as required
