Alphington Automotive is seeking an experienced and skilled Automotive Technician/Motor Mechanic to join our team in Alphington, VIC 3078. This is a full-time role with the opportunity to work on a wide range of vehicle makes and models.
What you'll be doing
- Diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical faults in vehicles
- Servicing and maintaining vehicles to manufacturer specifications
- Carrying out scheduled maintenance and repair work
- Test driving vehicles to ensure issues have been resolved
- Providing high-quality customer service and advice
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation
- Adhering to all health, safety and environmental standards
What we're looking for
- Formal qualification in Automotive Mechanics or a related field
- Significant experience as a qualified Automotive Technician/Motor Mechanic
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- Excellent mechanical and technical knowledge
- Ability to work efficiently and accurately under pressure
- Great customer service skills and a professional attitude
- Commitment to ongoing learning and development
