We are seeking a brilliant Chief Strategist & Head of Growth - a senior marketing leader who blends big-picture strategy with hands-on execution.

You'll be embedded directly with the team and clients: guiding account managers, supporting with strategy work, supporting media buyers, elevating creative and campaigns, and directly contributing to new business growth.

This role is ideal for someone who loves crafting marketing strategies, mentoring teams, and driving client results, while also having a direct hand in execution.

Key Responsibilities

Client Strategy & Delivery

  • Act as lead strategist for clients.
  • Support with messaging, funnels, and campaign direction.
  • Work alongside media buyers to guide creative testing, targeting, and budget optimisation.
  • Ensure client campaigns are innovative, consistent, and ROI-focused.

Growth & Business Development

  • Lead pitches, proposals, and new client acquisition.
  • Develop case studies, thought leadership, and positioning that attract new opportunities.

Team Development

  • Mentor and upskill account managers, building their strategic capability.
  • Collaborate closely with media buyers, designers, and copywriters to raise standards of creative and performance.
  • Help foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and learning.

Innovation & Tech

  • Champion the use of automation and analytics.
  • Test and implement new marketing technologies to keep the agency ahead of the curve.
  • Translate data into insights that improve performance and client retention.

Agency Growth Strategy

  • Partner with leadership to refine services, productise offers, and identify new revenue opportunities.

What We're Looking For

  • Proven Strategist: 5–7+ years in marketing (agency experience is a ).
  • Hands-On Marketer: not just planning - able to get into the details and directly improve campaigns
  • Digital Marketing expert - digital must be a primary skillset. Traditional, integrated, enterprise marketing capability is a bonus.
  • Growth Mindset: experience driving measurable client growth and winning new business.
  • Leadership: skilled at mentoring junior account managers and elevating overall team performance.
  • Tech-Savvy: comfortable with digital channels, data-driven marketing, and AI tools.
  • Strong Communicator: confident presenter, speaker, and relationship-builder.

Compensation

  • Salary: ~$110,000 – $130,000 (depending on experience).
