Emirates Leisure Retail Australia (ELRA) and Schnitz are joining forces to bring golden-crumbed, pan-fried schnitzel- crafted with Schnitz's traditional family recipe and a whole lot of passion - to the airport dining scene. Together, we're excited to launch a fresh new take on airport dining with the opening of Schnitz at Melbourne Airport.

To bring this vision to life, we're on the lookout for passionate 'Schnitzers' to join our team and contribute to our mission of delivering delicious, handcrafted meals with genuine hopitality.

ABOUT YOU

You've gotta be willing to learn, to back our product and most importantly, to treat everyone with respect.

Key ingredients for success:

• 1+ years of experience in a team member role within the hospitality industry (experience in the Quick Service sector is highly preferred)
• A people-first mindset and a genuine passion for great service
• Calm under pressure and a team player
• You're available to work on a 7-day rotating roster with varied shifts, including evenings and Public Holidays.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):

• Deliver outstanding customer service by greeting and serving our valued guests with energy, enthusiasm, and a genuine smile
• Prepare and serve barista-quality coffee to a high standard (training provided)
• Take accurate orders at the POS and handle transactions efficiently and professionally
• Portion, prepare, and cook food items in line with company recipes and food safety standards
• Operate multiple cooking stations including shallow frying, grilling, and deep frying
• Maintain consistency in food quality and presentation, especially during high-volume service times
• Work at the pass to coordinate orders and ensure meals are delivered hot, fresh, and correct
• Follow all food safety and hygiene protocols to ensure a clean and safe working environment
• Support your team by assisting in all areas of the store as needed, including cleaning, restocking, and general duties
• Take pride in your workspace, ensuring stations are clean, organised, and ready for the next shift
